Maison Sentinel is a fashion brand that was founded in 2016 by Ruben Sportes and Henri Niget with the goal of showcasing their creativity through various artistic mediums such as photography, video, and fashion. Although the brand initially encompassed a variety of art forms, it eventually focused primarily on fashion. Over the course of a few years, Maison Sentinel produced three successful fashion shows and an exhibition that incorporated different types of art. The brand attracted a number of individuals who contributed to the project, but some eventually left. Henri left the brand between the first and second show, and Thomas Chaulet later joined as co-artistic director alongside Ruben. The arrival of Thomas brought new energy and changed the way the brand operated. Together, they created an exhibition featuring video, clothing, and photos, as well as a collection that ultimately never saw the light of day. Today, Maison Sentinel is a dormant project that is occasionally revived for special occasions. Despite this, the brand remains a testament to the founders' creativity and their ability to bring together a diverse range of artistic mediums in a cohesive and exciting way.
